Here’s some fun and details from our recent stay…
Shuttle to Cisco or Ride on the Antique Firetruck
The trails and beaches are open to our four-legged friends and a the hotel’s shuttle runs daily to Cisco Brewery at 3pm. On a nicer day, you might get lucky to take a ride on the hotel’s antique firetruck—make sure you have your kids ring the bell. The resident Golden Lab, Easton, will become fast friends with your pup and kids too.
Howliday Yappy Hour on the Front Porch
Included in your package is Yappy Hour on the front porch with two hot toddies of your choice. Also, there are s’mores available upon request too. I’d suggest you get their spiked hot cocoa too!
Pup-friendly Cottages & Carriage Rooms
We stayed in Cottage #3 a two bedroom, two full bath cottage with a fireplace. The living room is spacious with a kitchenette and our cottage had two nice decks to enjoy the outdoors. It was perfect for a family of four and had everything we needed for our dog, Zoey. Thoughtful touches for your pet include a dog bed, towels, treats, food and water bowls, and waste bags.
Breakfast in The Breeze Restaurant Every Morning
A complimentary breakfast is included in your Pup and Play Package with two hearty and warm options to start your day. On Sundays, brunch is from 11am-2pm and you can make a reservation for your party to enjoy that their full brunch menu. Also, if coffee makers are in your room or cottage, but the lobby has a full coffee station for your use until 11am each day.
Great Location Steps from the Best Shopping
The hotel is a short walk or very quick shuttle to the island’s best shopping and restaurants. Also, it’s so festive at holiday time. A lot of shops are pet-friendly and we always bring Zoey’s pet carrier so we can enjoy the shopping on Nantucket.
Explore the Island
Shoulder season is an amazing time to explore Nantucket. There are plenty of pet-friendly trails and most beaches will permit dogs after the busy summer season comes to a close. With 3 lighthouses, several beaches, and plenty of hiking trails you will love exploring the beauty of the island with your pup.

Zoey had a doggie goodie awaiting her arrival and the staff loves to welcome new four-legged friends. We can’t rave more about how wonderful the people are here and how welcoming they are to us every time we visit. We love staying at The Nantucket Hotel and it’s even better we can bring our pup!
