Vermont Fall Road Trip Part Two

Here is Part Two of our Vermont Fall Road Trip! For this second part of this trip, I enjoyed some time with Shannon and Helen. It was so nice to forget about working and just enjoy driving around Vermont and shooting photos for fun!

I wanted to highlight some areas for you to bookmark for next fall as you plot out your New England travels. We were lucky to see most of these places at peak or just before. The colors hit so early this season!

Here are some highlights from the scenic Vermont towns we visited…

Peacham, VT

Peacham, VT was very close to the lake house and just lovely to visit. I think if you look it up in the dictionary it’s under quaint. Just driving around this area, you will see farmland scenes and white steeples like the photo above. Be sure to pick up a meal and coffee at the Peacham Cafe too!

Stowe, VT

Stowe, VT is known for being a skiing destination, but it should definitely not be missed if you are in Vermont during the fall. It’s full of photo worthy scenes and has a sweet little downtown to stroll complete with a country store.

Woodstock, VT

Woodstock, VT is a perennial favorite and for good reason. Its charm abounds and every home, business, and fence line is adorned with autumn decor. The Woodstock Inn is an amazing place to stay if you plan ahead. If you are only there for the day, be sure to have lunch at their restaurant. Shannon, Helen, and I had a lovely lunch there one of the days we visited. We loved the gourmet grilled cheese and tomato soup. Also, the chocolate chip cookie dessert is heaven!

It was so nice to have a little girls trip this year! These are just a few of my favorite towns in Vermont. I have so many I could do a whole other post on them!

My friend, Shannon, is an amazing photographer! She started as an influencer and has transitioned to photography and helping other creatives and businesses thrive. Her New England travel guides are amazing too. She just launched The Instagram Solution to help business owners and fellow creatives grow and utilize Instagram to its fullest. If you need help with Instagram this would be a great resource for you and its not expensive at all.

I’m working on some more posts from Martha’s Vineyard for you and happy to be staying local for a couple of weeks to enjoy Connecticut during peak foliage. I have some really fun collaborations to share with you in the weeks ahead with some fellow creatives too.

Until next time,

Kristy
